One ring circus, led by Claire Macdonald, aims to teach basic circus skills to young and old alike.The primary focus of these workshops is to have a lot of fun while learning new skills.

 Circus skills are an excellent vehicle for developing co-ordination, concentration, team work , balance, and the art of practice. Participants come away with a fantastic sense of achievement.

Workshops can include any three of the following activities: flower/devil sticks , juggling scarves , beanbags and rings, plate spinning and  poi swinging

Each session begins with an entertaining activity to warm up and break the ice, followed by a demonstration on how to use the various equipment. Smaller groups are then created to enable the participants to experience each activity to its fun filled fullest! Depending on group size team games may be played to end the session.

All sessions are catered to the space available and the group size, to ensure that participants have the best, safest experience possible.
